Privacy policy.
Server OS Backup is a private utility operated for one owner's server-backup workflow. This policy describes how it uses Google Drive access.
Google data accessed
The application uses the drive.file permission. This permits it to create, read, update, and delete only the Google Drive files and folders that the application creates or that the owner explicitly opens with it. It does not request unrestricted access to all files in the owner's Drive.
How the data is used
Google Drive access is used only to create and maintain encrypted backup repositories, verify uploaded backup objects, and restore owner-selected backup data. Backup contents are encrypted before upload.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored on the owner's protected server and are not embedded in this website. Access is limited to the automated backup process. The public pages do not collect form submissions, cookies, analytics, or advertising identifiers.
Sharing and transfers
Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with third parties. Data is transferred only between the owner's server and the owner's Google Drive as required for backup and restoration.
Retention and deletion
Encrypted backup objects remain in the owner's Google Drive according to the owner's retention policy. The owner can delete those objects, disconnect the application, or revoke its Google account access at any time.
Limited Use disclosure
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be published on this page. Questions about this private utility can be sent through the support contact shown on its Google OAuth consent screen.
